COLMER'S HILL AND BRIDPORT

On the 18th of September I took an early morning trip to Colmer’s Hill. This small hill features in many local pictures and photographs - It is the most beautifully shaped hill with a few wind swept pine trees clinging to its peak. The hill is especially beautiful at this time of year as the bracken changes colour. From Colmer’s Hill I walked down into Bridport via Symondsbury.  From Bridport I continued on to West Bay where I spent the day photographing the harbour and the East Cliff. The sea was busy with fishing and sailing boats, all making the most of near perfect conditions.
