My week in pictures: WEEK ENDING 17 AUGUST 2008

I spent the week job hunting and watching in frustration as the rain continued to fall. On Thursday David, Yvonne and I went across to Basingstoke to visit my sister Kate. Kate and I returned to Fishpond on the Friday. On Sunday we went for a walk up on to Lambert's Castle where I tried out my new Nikon D300 camera. The focus system of the D300 is far superior to my old D50 and I am really happy with the results so far, although it will probably take me a few months to get to grips with all of the new controls.
